Competitive Edge Basketball Tournaments

SJB Borough ChampionsRichmond Knights deliver the ‘Competitive Edge’ Primary School Basketball Tournaments on behalf of the Richmond School Sports Partnership. These exciting events take place every term in both the East and West of the borough and enable hundreds of children to improve their skills in a positive and competitive environment.

Barnes 3-4 Winners PhotoEvery school in the borough is invited to enter so ask your PE Coordinator to contact us if your school is not already involved.


The best performing schools across each of the year 5&6 East and West tournaments will play-off against each other to determine the ultimate borough champion. This school will win the right to represent the borough at basketball in the London School Games in July!


East Richmond Competitive Edge Tournaments

  As our programme expanded in to the East of the borough a second tournament venue is now required to allow the schools in Richmond, Shene, Mortlake, Barnes and Kew to compete. Christ’s School kindly provide their sports hall and sports leaders to allow the East Richmond tournaments to take place every term.
